Also included: Boat Helmsman Guide Diving equipment Wetsuit We begin with a boat trip from the tourist pier of Vila Abraão to the dive site, which lasts about 35 minutes with stunning views of the island's green slopes and isolated beaches. During the journey, you can observe the surrounding landscape, including the famous Pico do Papagaio and the various islands and coves that dot the coast. We dive with scuba gear and all the necessary equipment for almost 1 hour, and in the water we immediately encounter a vibrant underwater world. Visibility is generally excellent, allowing you to easily explore the coral reefs and rock formations. As you descend up to 20 meters, it's impossible not to be enchanted by the rich biodiversity. Between 8 and 12 meters deep is where there is the highest incidence of marine life, so we usually swim in this range. We find colorful fish, such as parrotfish and angelfish, as well as schools of sardines. You can also find sea turtles and seahorses, and even small sharks patrolling the waters, octopuses, squid, starfish, among others. The reefs are adorned with bright corals and anemones, creating a magical and surreal environment. If you are already a certified diver, we will do a second dive at another point around the island. The dive sites may be in one of these locations: 📍Ponta Grossa in Bananal cove 📍Ponta do Alvo in Sítio Forte cove 📍Lagoa Verde Important: We do not have a fixed point.
