National Park

Serra dos orgãos

Located between the cities of Petrópolis and Teresópolis, 80 kilometers away of Rio de Janeiro, it is an area of mountainous Atlantic rainforest with iconic peaks, some exceeding 2,000 meters in altitude.

God's Finger

Mountaineering Classic

The journey is a physical and mental test, demanding determination and a certain level of skill.

The adventure features vertical climbing and technical, exposed sections on the gneiss, where every meter is a personal victory and offers spectacular views.

The summit is 1692 meters high, offering views of Guanabara Bay, the marvelous city of Rio de Janeiro and its beaches, and even the distant ocean. Climbing the Dedo de Deus (God's Finger) is to become a triumphant mountaineer with unforgettable memories. Prepare yourself for the challenge.

Escalavrado

Exploring

An imposing rock wall that rises defiantly. The ascent to this peak is a test of your mettle. Prepare for an incredibly steep trail, where the Atlantic Forest gives way to exposed sections and constant scrambling, testing your endurance and balance. Each step is a vertical conquest, with your body in direct contact with the rock.

The summit of Escalavrado, at 1,350 meters, is obviously not very frequented, as a mountain like this doesn't have the same accessibility as a shopping mall; you have to really want to reach the top to do it, and it's beyond the capabilities of an average person. The effort is accompanied by a unique and breathtaking perspective.

Let's disentangle this stone ridge, one of the most uniquely shaped mountains in the Park, and one that I clearly recommend be the first to be climbed. It's where determination transforms into glory and the landscape into pure inspiration.
